There are so many great ingredients to be used in skincare and makeup. Ingredients that are non-harming and that get the job done. Glycerin is a thick clear thick liquid derived from plant oils and acts as a humectant attracting moisture to itself. When used in skincare, it is always combined with other emollients and oils so as to not draw moisture from the skin but attract it to the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a water loving carbohydrate that occurs naturally throughout the body and a large percentage of it is in the skin.It has the ability to bind to 1000 times it’s weight in water. This then nourishes the collagen in the skin to provide plumpness. Young skin has a high concentration of HA but as we age, that level declines resulting in less fullness and more wrinkles. Many products now contain hyaluronic acid, helping plump and hydrate the skin. Inika Certified Organic Liquid Mineral Foundation
