We all know a decent breakfast paves the way for a killer, productive day, but sometimes it’s hard to find the perfect option. In our house, mornings are about a healthy, yummy start and getting out the door on time — that’s why an Acai Berry smoothie bowl is one of my go-tos.
If you’ve never indulged in a morning smoothie bowl before, you’re missing out on something great! Think of a regular smoothie amped up into thick, topping-heavy goodness. They’re quick, delicious and help keep you fuller throughout the day too – what’s not to love?
Lately, I’ve also gotten into adding super health Nutra Organic Blends to meals wherever possible. A good, natural smoothie bowl is the perfect way to do this. My Acai Berry smoothie bowl recipe uses Nutra Organics Acai Berry Blend, meaning it’s packed full of antioxidants and energy.

How to make your own Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl:
Ahead of time, add 1 cup of coconut milk to 1/4 cup chia seed while stirring to avoid clumping. Let this rest for at least 15 minutes to allow the chia seeds to gel. Add a tbsp maple syrup.
Whiz up 1 frozen banana in a Nutri-Bullet or blender with enough almond or coconut milk to make it easy to process, add 1 tsp of Acai Berry Blend and blend thoroughly.
Spoon into a bowl and top with your chia mixture, then add your favourite healthy breakfast toppings. I used cacao nibs, walnuts and more acai powder.
If you’re really in a hurry, you can even pre-blend your smoothie bowl the night before and pop it in the fridge. Just a few toppings thrown on in the morning and you’re good to go. Happy breakfasting!
